In October, 2018, Congregation Sha’aray Shalom officially launched our "Chazak Chazk - From Strength to Strength" fundraising campaign. After extensive planning, research, and congregational input, we set our goal to raise $2.5 million dollars over an 18 month period, concluding in April, 2020.
The pressing need to invest in our Temple is clear; donations will be used to repair and replace numerous outdated building system, including the roof, the HVAC system, and urgently needed renovations to our public and private sacred spaces. Our plan further includes educational and community building opportunities designed to connect our congregants with each other and with our shared Jewish traditions.
Our community’s response to “Chazak Chazak” will reflect a shared commitment to our spiritual community, a community that is a vibrant and diverse Jewish home and safe harbor for us all. We are proud to invite you to join our "Chazak Chazk - From Strength to Strength” fundraising intuitive. Through this campaign we keep our vibrant presence on the South Shore alive, both for now and for all the future generations that will call Congregation Sha’aray Shalom their spiritual home.
